Your devices are signed into the same i cloud account
Once you’ve done that, you need to enable Handoff, to do so on ios (or ipados) go into settings. Then select general and head into Airplay &Handoff. It should look like this.

If you are wanting to enable cross –device copy and paste on mac os, you need to head into settings on that machine too. From there, click on General, and put a tick next to the section that mentions Handoff
Once all that done , you should be able to copy and paste between your Apple devices to your another devices.This work with text,images and videos
