android 12 latest features
its been a month since google released the latest developer preview for android 12 . in the google developer console this revealed hints of what to expect from android 12 and the latest hint is about how the search features will let you find anything on your phone on any third – party launcher.
in ios 14 use the search bar at the top of the library to quick find the app you ‘ve looking for and the iOS work perfectly . app can be displayed alphabetically , making them easy to scroll through and find
now the android 12 search widget on the default pixel launcher lets you search for apps . contacts . settings . and more on your device like iPhone however it appears that this features will no longer be limited to google pixel phones. as their is evidence suggesting that is support will extend to third party launchers .
this evidence was spotted by the developer team behind the niagara lanucher and it suggensts that google developer console has added a new decice search api in android 12 .
