اگر موجیں ڈبو دیتیں تو کچھ تسکین ہو جاتی
کناروں نے ڈبویا ہے مجھے اس بات کا غم ہے
ہم آہ بھی کرتے ہیں تو ہو جاے ہیں بدنام
وہ قتل بھی کرتے ہیں تو چرچا نہیں ہوتا
عشق نازک مزاج ہے بے حد
عقل کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھا سکتا
دنیا میں ہوں دنیا کا طلب گار نہیں ہوں
بازار سے گزرا ہوں خریدار نہیں ہوں
حیا سے سر جھکا لینا ادا سے مسکرا دینا
حسینوں کو بھی کتنا سہل ہے بجلی گرا دینا
